Dane Stevens is a business owner, entrepreneur, musician, and former professional lacrosse player. He proudly represents three generations of his families gemstone importing business, and most recently his newest venture Cavalier Jewellers. Upon graduating from the Canadian Institute of Gemology in 2007, Dane took an active role in the day-to-day operations of Adams & Son Importers, a family business specializing in the wholesale of precious gemstones. After two years, Dane became the sole owner of Adams & Son and, while he eventually changed the name to Adams & Stevens Importers, he maintained the same standard of customer service that allowed Adams & Son to, for over 40 years, be a respected, consistently profitable business in a volatile industry.
Today, Dane travels the world extensively to source gemstones, luxury jewellery and custom pieces desired by his wholesale network of over 100 Canadian retail stores, goldsmiths, jewellery designers and gem collectors. In 2013, Dane opened Cavalier Jewellers with business partner and childhood friend Keith Seabrook. Incorporating decades of the expertise and advice inherited by Dane while working as a 3rd generation jeweller, Cavalier combines industry relevant experience with an ambitious business plan, designed to redefine the public perception of jewellery stores in an otherwise traditional industry. To support the community, Cavalier has donated over $75,000 to organizations such as the ALS Society of BC, Canucks Place, Face of Today and The Zajac Foundation. Within the past year Cavalier has been recognized in Canadian Jeweller Magazine, BC Business Magazine, and The Vancouver Sun Newspaper.
